Sable provides testing services for client-supplied pharmaceutical samples. We are a contract testing laboratory, aligned to the standards and requirements of SAHPRA. Our comprehensive service offering, modern laboratory and superior customer focus sets us apart from other laboratories.

POST-IMPORTATION TESTING

We provide post-importation testing for all pharmaceuticals, including schedule 5 and 6, cytotoxic and biological medicines.

 

We are able to source and control reference standards and other client property.

 

We help our clients to quickly confirm product integrity prior to release for sale in South Africa as we understand the importance of providing product to market timeously.

TESTING OF BIOLOGICAL PRODUCTS

Developments in biological products have been extremely rapid in recent years and their potential for improving healthcare is immense. Currently, there is no available option for post-importation testing of biological medicines in South Africa.

 

Through the use of technology and innovative systems, Sable is gearing up to support importers by assuring the quality testing of their biological products.

STABILITY STORAGE AND TESTING

Sable provides storage and testing services for stability studies on finished pharmaceutical products and complementary medicines.

 

We recognise that the quality of data generated during stability testing is an important requirement for regulatory approval of any drug or formulation.

TESTING CAPABILITIES

Sable is designed to handle all samples including hazardous samples e.g. cytotoxic drugs, which are tested under strict health and safety conditions. Our laboratory is installed with state-of-the-art equipment including biosafety cabinets. It includes designated hazardous and non-hazardous areas.
